Referral services
These are mainly telephone services that can tell you where vacancies are and give you advice about where to find accommodation. They can also give you the phone numbers of services that can:
- help you to get into longer term housing
- arrange Bond Assistance (if you have to pay bond on your new place)
- help you get money from the Housing Establishment fund (for things such as removalists, items such are fridge's, or for the first rent payment).
- they may also be able to help you get rent assistance from Centrelink.
