Centrelink has a general information line (Phone 13 10 21) where you can get information about payments and benefits. It can also put you in touch with a social worker or other services. Appointments can also be arranged to see Centrelink staff.

Social Workers can provide support and counselling, and referrals to community services. They can also give information about payments, advocacy and referral to other Centerline services.

JET (jobs education training) adviser

JET is a service for some people on Centrelink payments (Sole Parent Pensions). JET can help with employment and training. They can also help with information on local child care costs. Contact Centrelink on 13 10 21.

Sole Parents may also be able to get an extra payment from Austudy called the Pensioner Education Supplement Ring AUSTUDY on 132 490.
