Sexually Transmitted Infection - dental dams - Young Pregnant & Parenting

A Word About Oral Sex And Dental Dams
missing imageWhile intercourse is the main risk for STI's, oral sex (mouth on penis or vaginal area) is a bit risky for catching STI's too, especially if you have cold sores, a cut mouth or bleeding gums. So latex between the mouth and the penis or vaginal area is a good idea. And that means using a condom or dental dam.

Dental dams are thin squares of latex rubber to be held over the woman's vaginal area during oral sex. They are available from any of the places listed on this page.
