The Teen Pregnancy Interest Group (TPIG)

The Teen Pregnancy Interest Group was founded in 1985 by Patsy Littlejohn, to support the needs of those working with young pregnant and parenting women. Over the years the informal membership of professionals from many disciplines has changed and grown, providing a very important niche in the community. The group meets every two months and is a forum for sharing ideas and information, improving services, networking and addressing the changing needs of young pregnant and parenting women. The TPIG has produced four information booklets to date. A recent consultation with young women opted to make the next resource an on line one.
